I read in the docs that the armored car wasn’t in service at the time so it was purchased used, and I know it’s like cop cars - you have to cover the emblems and make look NOT like the original service vehicle… it looks like someone bought it just for the occasion.
I can’t recall where it was mentioned in the reports off the top of my head, but I do know that often times, Ireland talks about the truck and calls it by the brand name “Loomis Fargo.” He says, “my lifeless body plunged onto the top of that Loomis Fargo truck.” How did he know it was a Loomis Fargo truck if the logos were covered up? Maybe someone told him, but it sounds more like he’s reading a script, where, being the actor, he knows the truck is Loomis Fargo and he’s inserting that phrase into his dialogue without thinking.

If there were only 3 inexperienced shooters, why did it take SWAT over 3 hours to go inside and deal with them? I guess the orchestrators of the mass shooting wanted to stretch out the event for maximum publicity.
Since nobody died and it wasn’t a real shooting, and they were firing blanks that day (police, too), I think the reason they didn’t let anyone in was because not every agency knew it was a drill. The first responders were all in on it but not every agency was.
They also had to play out the story of a teacher who bled to death while police waited to go in. And then of course there’s Patrick Ireland’s story that made this shooting iconic. They needed to drag it out for hours so he could tell the story of dragging himself to the window for three hours.
